Ariel Saxo

Sr. Instrumentalist Grand Champion

TEAM Colombia

Many congratulations to Ariel Saxo from Team Colombia at WCOPA 2011. Earlier this month Ariel was honored by the Colombian congress and awarded the prestigious  "Silver Cross" Order of Democracy Simon Bolivar. This is one of Colombia's highest civilian honors that recognizes and praises the eminent services of individuals who excell nationally and internationally in promoting the arts, education and culture.

Ariel was one of our former 2011 multi-medalist and Sr. Instrumentalist Grand Champion from Colombia. He will return to Los Angeles in 2012 not as a competitor, but as the National Director for his own delegation of performers.

Ariel is a composer and performer of wind instruments, but his greatest passion is intensely expressed by the flute and saxophone. Last year he released his first album "Sensual Sound" and now is releasing his new single "Cumbia cadenciosa," a beautiful original song that mixes the warm air of delicious and typical Colombian cumbia with the invigorating sounds of electronic music.Ariel has toured more than 10 countries as a guest of honor at many international events where he has captivated audiences with his masterful, warm and professional presentations.

Wishing you continued success, Ariel.
