2010 Grand Champion Continued Success
Lianah Sta. Ana, 2010 former Team USA Junior Grand Champion Performer of the World continues her success by staying busy performing in some of the U.S. most notorious venues and is growing into a tremendous performer.
Highlights of the year after WCOPA in show business include winning two rounds at the Apollo Theater’s “Stars of Tomorrow” amateur competition in Harlem, N.Y.
She was the grand prize winner of the Kidz Bop Sportz Jamz Talent Search, held at Madison Square Garden during a New York Knicks basketball game; and being named the winner of the Rock’n Music Idol competition for young musicians in her age category, in addition to receiving the Overall Idol grand prize at the competition, hosted annually by Rock’n Music Academy in Middletown.
As the Rock’n Music Idol she was given the opportunity to perform at the historic Stone Pony in Asbury Park, belting out her rendition of “Out Here on My Own,” which was originally featured in the motion picture “Fame.” Lianah was also chosen to be one of the opening acts for a benefit concert which starred Tony Award winner and Grammy Award-nominated singer and actress Melba Moore.
She continues to be invited to sing at famed venues such as Met’s Stadium, Madison Square Garden, the U.S. Open, Thanksgiving Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and other large venues before crowds of 70,000 singing the National Anthem at the Met Life Jet Stadium, NJ.
With a powerful voice that makes people notice, Lianah continues to develop her career as a singer and performer, recording and making public and television appearances on television during “Good Day New York” on Fox 5, as well as on “Spotlight New jersey” with Della Crews on News 12 New Jersey.
