Dina started her involvement in the world of modeling at the age of 17 and has been involved in modeling and pageants ever since. Dina is an accredited pageant judge and has judged numerous international pageants. Over the years she has been a judge at many performing arts competitions in South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. Dina’s association with WCOPA started when both her daughters successfully represented South Africa and New Zealand.
In 2007 Dina established Accolades International Marketing Ltd. New Zealand. (AIM) a Performing Arts Talent scouting business. The vision of AIM is to reach everyone who is passionate about the Performing Arts in New Zealand and to provide the opportunity for exposure and development in his/her performing career. Furthermore our aim is to create a platform for up and coming performers to showcase their talent on an International level. The first team of KIWI performers left the shores in 2007 to represent NZ at WCOPA. After the success of 2007 Dina was offered the license for Australia as well. In 2008 Accolades International Marketing Australia was born.
Since 2007 Dina has taken more than 100 talented performing artists who competed successfully at WCOPA. These talented New Zealanders have proven themselves on the world stage bringing home gold, silver, bronze medals, scholarships, industry awards and overall world champion awards. The WCOPA experience helped many of these performers to further their performing arts career. Many of the New Zealand Black Stars Team members returned to America to take up the scholarships awarded to them.
Over the years New Zealand produced fine talented performers like: Jessie Hillel and Andrew Papas. Jessie progressed to the WCOPA showcase in 2010 and came second in the 2012 New Zealand’s Got Talent competition. Jessie recently recorded her first CD at the Roundhead Studios which is and Auckland-based sound recording studio owned by the renowned singer and songwriter Neil Finn. Andrew, finalist in the 2012 showcase returned to New Zealand where he was selected as a member of the now famous boy band Titanium. The list of success stories goes on and on….
In 2011 Dina proudly accepts the coveted Outstanding National Director’s award at the 15th Annual World Championships of Performing Arts in Hollywood, California.
The Aim to Fame Talent search has grown in stature. Year on year more contestants are involved competing for a spot in the NZ team. These auditions are becoming a recognized vehicle to international exposure.
Dina is very excited by the immense talent pool of New Zealand and are looking forward to many more New Zealand success stories.

In 2000, he started to manage bands and performing artists and immersed himself in the world of entertainment. His background on Sound Engineering, trained by no less than the British Council in the United Kingdom, abled him to learn the technical aspects of concert production that by 2006, he started to line produce concerts. Right now he has become a concert producer for local and international artists. Studying portrait photography was an additional income for him being around performing artists.
In 2003, he studied Real Estate and passed the boards in one take, earning his license as a Realtor. He made his first millions when he was only 26 years old, selling raw lands to tycoons and Real Estate companies in the Philippines.
There was no stopping this businessman. With his patience and hard work, he has become an inspiration to many. He believes that without his educational background and his drive to further educate himself, he would not have achieved success.
In 2013, he became the National Director for the country of the Philippines and was able to bring 35 performers from the Philippines to compete in the global event, The World Championships of the Performing Arts. It was the first time the Philippines ever brought that much number of people to compete and this earned him the award, Outstanding National Director.
Gerry believes that all of these successes would not have been easy if he didn’t further educate himself. He encourages the youth today to not stop learning so that you can work smarter not harder. Also, he adds, that in business, you have to know how to humble yourself and not be affected by rejections. His winning formula are the 3 P’s he says: Patience, Persistence and most importantly, Prayer…but more than that, as a loving husband and father to 2 beautiful daughters Gerry goes through life by the words of his favorite motivational speaker, Zig Ziglar:
“Money is not the most important thing in life.. but it is reasonably close to oxygen… I love the things money wont buy.. money will buy you a nice house but not a home, money will buy you companion but not a good friend, money will buy you a good time but not a peace of mind.. money will buy you a bed but not a good night sleep.. let’s strive to achieve in getting more of the things money can buy and “All” of the things money can’t buy…”
