Jed will be a featured guest performer at the 17th annual WCOPA and he will be presented with his Achievement Award and inducted into the "Performing Arts Hall of Fame" during the live international webcast of the WCOPA finals, Friday evening, July 19!
Jed was the first "Grand Champion Performer of the World" from the Philippines, winning the coveted title in 2005! At that WCOPA event, he won all the major industry awards in addition to capturing the top crown. He was signed by Universal Records and to date has had six double platinum albums with most becoming classics. He has become a superstar Filipino recording artist and songwriter, and is known as "The Singer's Singer." His sold-out tours and concerts around the world are legendary. He is a co-host and performer on "ASAP" and a member of ABS-CBN's "Star Magic," two top rated weekly television programs. For two consecutive years (2011 and 2012), he was named "Male Recording Artist of the Year." In addition to recently signing with Star Records, he just released his seventh album "Breathe Again." He is managed by GM Proponents of Artists, Inc.
Another major accolade for Jed: he is the first "Grand Champion Performer of the World" to receive the prestigious WCOPA Achievement Award!
